Iriomote Phyllodesmium
Phyllodesmium iriomotense is a specialist nudibranch found across the Indo-Pacific, known for its unusually long, curling cerata and translucent body patterned with blue and white markings. It feeds exclusively on octocorals and soft corals, and is rarely encountered without knowing exactly where to look.
Part of the Nudibranch & Sea Slug Collection — fine art macro photography by Sina Joelle Strähl and Patrick Ess, shot across the reefs of the Indo-Pacific.
